The Story Behind the Nailed It Design

Of everything we've ever pressed, the Nailed It design gets the most questions. Three nails arranged in a cross, two simple words. People smile at the play on words — and then they ask what it means. Which is exactly the point.

Here's the story we get to tell.

When Jesus hung on the cross, He spoke three words that changed everything: "It is finished" (John 19:30). The debt was paid. Not partially covered, not down-paymented — finished. The three nails that held Him there weren't the end of the story. They were the receipt.

"Nailed It" is our way of saying that. Not that we nailed it — we didn't and we couldn't. He did. Colossians 2:14 says He took the record of debt that stood against us and nailed it to the cross. Every mistake, every failure, every thing we'd undo if we could — nailed there, once, for all.

So when somebody chuckles at the hat or the hoodie and asks about it, you get to hand them the whole gospel in about thirty seconds. He nailed it, so we don't have to earn it.

The Nailed It family keeps growing — the tee, the hoodie, the embroidered cap, and the vinyl decal that's shown up on truck windows and toolboxes all over Monroe County. Different items, same three nails, same finished work.

It is finished. That's worth wearing.
